چکیده

Abstract Although there is a growing number of research articles investigating the performance in banking industry, on Chinese efficiency rather focused discussing rankings to detriment unveiling its productive structure light competition. This issue utmost importance considering relevant transformations economy over last decades. development two-stage network production process (production and intermediation approaches banking, respectively) evaluate level commercial banks. In second stage regression analysis, an integrated Multi-Layer Perceptron/Hidden Markov model used for first time unveil endogeneity among competition, contextual variables, levels banking. The competitive condition industry measured by Panar–Rosse H-statistic Lerner index under Ordinary Least Square regression. Findings reveal that appears be positively impacted competition market power. Second, credit risk analysis older local banks, which focus province level, would possibly fact jeopardizes entire China. Thirdly, it found perfect at reduced power banks are drivers sound system. Finally, our findings suggest concentration few leads increase bank productivity.

Two-stage network DEA-R based on value efficiency

It is essential for most organizations and financial institutes to be able to evaluate their decision-making units (DMUs), when there is only a ratio of inputs to outputs (or vice versa) available. In this paper, we will propose our two-stage DEA-R models, which are a combination of data envelopment analysis and ratio data, based on value efficiency. Integrating value efficiency into data envel...

Risk management in Chinese banks has traditionally been the Cinderella of its internal functions. Political stricture and developmental imperative have often overridden standard practice of risk management resulting in large non-performing loan (NPL) ratios. The training and practice of risk managers remain second class compared with foreign banks operating in China. This paper surveys Chinese ...

Sensitivity Analysis in Two-Stage DEA

Data envelopment analysis (DEA) is a method for measuring the efficiency of peer decision making units (DMUs) which uses a set of inputs to produce a set of outputs. In some cases, DMUs have a two-stage structure, in which the first stage utilizes inputs to produce outputs used as the inputs of the second stage to produce final outputs. One important issue in two-stage DEA is the sensitivity of...
